Let’s talk about rain. Yups… RAIN. Water drops coming down from the sky to your house, his yard, her lovely rose, their football yard, and to my head.
I wasn’t a kid who loved playing outdoor in the raining sky. Don’t know why. Just don’t like it. It didn’t cross my mind to love it, unlike you or other elses in their childhood. For me, it’s always be a comfort way to stay indoor during the rain.
Who am I, choosing when to rain and when to have a sunny day? Just as everyone, I have felt meeting certain situations where the rain came up as an obstacle, barrier in doing/finishing something. Then, just enjoy the wet look. Barely wet cloth, and watery hair. Perhaps sticky socks, slapped car, dirty pants, and messy paper. Arrrggggh! Hate it… so much..
It happened to me knowing a guy at office who loves the rain so much. He even prefers going home by foot whenever it rains, in order to get completely wet. What a weird friend of mine. But yeah, he does exists. And maybe same others in your life.
It just then put me into a deep thought.
I know that somehow it is said that rainy day is a perfect time to take a pray or make a wish. So, I tried it. I took a motorcycle going home from a least favorite job of my past occupation. Disliking the job, I took the chance to send my wishes to beautifully end the job and elegantly start a new better one. Well, maybe He heard me clearly. And the rest was just like unbelievable stories. Guess what… it happened twice.
Seems enough to make me even think deeper about the rain in my life.. Because I still don’t like the wet situations. It’s just bothering me and my things in head, while umbrella is only good in Rihanna’s performance.
I conclude that this rain of my life has been just like families, instead of friends. Ones that I never choose before to be with. Like it or not, I just have to live with it. Deal with it. I might have good times as well as bad times with it. And take them all as a great part of my life, anyway..
